How Do You Repair Bent Chain Rings?
Bent or warped chain rings won’t do much for your shifting performance. If they aren’t badly damaged, you should be able to bend them back into shape with an adjustable wrench. Clamp your bike into the repair stand. Remove the chain from the front chain rings. Make sure that the bottom bracket is adjusted properly, and that all the chain ring bolts are tight. Spin the cranks to determine where your chain rings are bent. Grasp the chain ring with a adjustable wrench.
