How Do You Repair An Installed Version Of Peachtree Accounting?
There a times when your Peachtree accounting software may not function correctly for multiple reasons. Data corruption & failing hardware are the most common causes of this. Most of the time a repair can be done of the Peachtree application instead of completely removing and reinstalling the application from scratch. There is a built-in repair function within the Peachtree application that usually addresses many of these issues and can get you up and running again fairly quickly. Insert Peachtree installation CD. (Disk 1) Select “Remove or Modify Peachtree Accounting” from the main installation window. Select the correct version of Peachtree to be installed. (Example: Peachtree Complete Accounting 2010) Select “Repair” from the two options available. (Select repair and not Remove or Modify) Continue through the repair process choosing all of the default values provided. Once the repair is completed, select “Finish” and reboot the computer.
