How Do You Repair An Electric Window On A Sonata?

0

Repairing an electric window on a sonata can only be done after it is diagnosed. You must know what part of the window is not working. Try all the windows to make sure the problem is isolated. If none of the windows work, an electrical problem is evident. If only one window does not work, the problem is most likely mechanical, but an electrical problem should not be ruled out. Remove the two screws in the arm rest and the singular screw in the plastic cover in the door handle. Insert the common screwdriver between the door panel and the door and pry all the trim fasteners out of the door. Disconnect the electrical plugs from the power window switch and the door lock switch. Remove the door panel. Pull the moisture barrier back to expose the window regulator and motor. Disconnect the electrical plug from the window motor. If the motor is the problem, remove it by taking out the three 10mm bolts securing the motor to the regulator and remove the motor. Reverse the procedure to replace it
