How do you repair above ground leaking pool PVC pipes?
Repair of pvc pipe is usually limited tor replacing the damaged pipe with new. The pipe, fittings, and bonding materials can be purchased at most home improvement centers like HomeDepot. Keep in mind that the pipes and pumping equipment of above-ground pools should be removed during the winter to prevent freeze damage, so don’t glue everything up as a permanent installation. You will probably need to use some type of union to allow disconection of the pipes that could collect water and freeze. You should be able to copy the original installation. But you may not have to replace everything. If you just have a section of pipe that is broken it is easy to cut out and replace with a new length and a couple of fittings and pvc cleaner, primer, and cement. Ask the store clerk for help in selecting and using these items.
