Uh…huh…now -you see why your weed whacker will not start…broken fuel line! Follow these steps and you can repair your weed whacker’s broken fuel line. Remove fuel filter line from gas tank. Purchase the correct size fuel line and filter, if necessary. Use a semi-sharp object to feed the line into the top hole of the tank.You should be able to push the line through until it comes out of neck where the gas is poured into the tank. Attach fuel filter to the end of the hose. Use a sharpie to mark the hose. Make sure it is the same length as the old hose.
