Although your single-handle Moen faucet is different from other styles of faucet, repairing it requires a similar process. You will disassemble your faucet, replace the cartridge and reassemble the faucet. There are two styles of Moen single-handle faucets. With the older model, the entire handle is pulled out and pushed in toward the base to control the water flow. With the newer style, only part of the handle is lifted to turn on the water. The newer style has more parts, so repairing it will be more time-consuming. Pry off the cap of the handle. Loosen the handle-retaining screw you have just exposed and lift off the handle.
