How Do You Repair A Sega Nomad Screen?
Sega Nomads are small hand-held gaming consoles that run the regular Sega Genesis and Sega Saturn cartridges. The Sega Nomad has a thick plastic screen that can often get scratched or cracked. Replacing these screens is a fairly simple task. Step 1 Carefully slide the knife into the spot between the screen and the plastic body. Gradually apply pressure and wiggle the knife up and down until the sticky glue that holds the screen in place gives. Step 2 Move the knife to a second corner and slide it between the screen and plastic body. Wiggle the knife around until the screen gives and repeat this every couple of inches until you can lift the entire screen up out of the plastic body of the Sega Nomad. Step 3 Use a piece of Scotch tape to remove any hair or debris that fell into the Sega Nomad. Do not press down on the LCD crystals. Simply slide the sticky side of the tape along the LCD screen so that it catches anything that shouldn’t be inside. Step 4 Place a small amount of the assembly
