How Do You Repair A Laserjet Toner Cartridge?
Laserjet printers provide crisp, clear graphics on a variety of paper types and are one of the most popular printer styles available today. While laserjat printers are normally very efficient on ink, they still occasionally have ink cartridge problems, however, due either to a clog or a dried-up cartridge. Luckily the ink cartridges from laserjet printers can be repaired quickly and easily. Step 1 Turn the printer around so you can see the back portion of the plastic cover. Flip the plastic tabs holding the rear cover in place and fold the cover down. The ink cartridge will be visible in its cartridge cradle. Flip open the plastic tab holding the cartridge in place and pull the cartridge out. Step 2 Wet the cotton swabs with a bit of rubbing alcohol and flip the cartridge over so you can see its inkjets. Rub the jets with the moistened cotton swab to remove any clogs. Step 3 Use the small drill included in the refill kit to make a hole on the top corner of the cartridge if it is dried
