For minor repairs, a special type of concrete known as “premix” or premixed concrete, can offer a fast and easy way to make spot repairs on a concrete driveway without having to hire a professional. Measure the hole you need to fill in your driveway to determine how much premixed concrete you’ll need. Multiply the width by the height by the depth to calculate the volume of the hole in inches. One cubic foot is 144 cubic inches. A 60-pound bag of premixed concrete will fill about half a cubic foot. Pour all of the dry concrete into your wheelbarrow or other large, waterproof, sturdy mixing container.
