How Do You Repair A Dead Laptop Battery?
Laptop batteries spend their lives slowly draining as you use them with remote power, and then get recharged when your machine is plugged into a wall outlet. This continuous cycle of charging and discharging will eventually cause the battery to lose the ability to hold a charge at all. However, a simply procedure may give your dead battery a new lease on life, and save yourself the high cost of a replacement. Shut down the power on your laptop and close the screen. Locate the battery case on the underside of your laptop. The case will be a narrow rectangle shape, and be about as long as the width of the laptop. Notice a lock/unlock sliding switch underneath your laptop. Usually there are two of these switches, each with a battery symbol, near each end of the battery case.
