How Do You Repair A Dead Laptop Battery?

0

Laptop batteries spend their lives slowly draining as you use them with remote power, and then get recharged when your machine is plugged into a wall outlet. This continuous cycle of charging and discharging will eventually cause the battery to lose the ability to hold a charge at all. However, a simply procedure may give your dead battery a new lease on life, and save yourself the high cost of a replacement. Shut down the power on your laptop and close the screen. Locate the battery case on the underside of your laptop. The case will be a narrow rectangle shape, and be about as long as the width of the laptop. Notice a lock/unlock sliding switch underneath your laptop. Usually there are two of these switches, each with a battery symbol, near each end of the battery case. Grasp the laptop battery with your fingertips as you slide one of the switches to the unlock position. Now unlock the second sliding switch. The battery case should now come loose, which will allow you to remove it fr
