How Do You Repair A Bissell Spot Bot?
The Bissell Spot Bot allows you to scrub and spot-clean a carpet with the attached hose or let the machine do all the work. It cleans the spots for you; all you do is press a button. When it becomes clogged and won’t work, here’s how to fix it. Remove the dirty water and solution tanks. Clean these well with soap and water. Unscrew the hose attachment. This is where the clog is most likely to be. Bend a wire hanger to a straight point, or use another similar object. Stick the wire into the hose. Push out anything that is stuck in the tubing. Wash the hose out with soap and water. Allow it to dry. Flip the Bissell Spot Bot upside down. Pull out any carpet pieces, hair or strings that are caught in the scrubbers. Poke through the scrubbers and suction tube to remove any residue. With a sponge, clean this area of the spot cleaner. Wipe down the suction tube and rinse out the scrubbers. Reattach the hose and put the tanks back in place.
