How Do You Remove XP From A Vista Dual Operating System?
If you are using a dual-boot operating system that has both Windows Vista and XP, you may wish to remove the XP operating system. Removing your Windows XP operating system will functionally make your computer a single-boot system. Select Windows XP from your dual-boot options and boot in to safe mode by pressing F8 when the setup options appear during start-up. Log in to an account that has administrator access. Click on the “Start” button located in the bottom left corner of your Desktop. Open the Control Panel and double-click the “Add or Remove Programs” icon. Double-click the option labeled “Uninstall Windows XP” from the program list. Click on “Yes” when asked to confirm that you would like to uninstall Windows XP. Your computer will begin to uninstall Windows XP and will restart when the operation is completed.
