How Do You Remove Wiper Arms From A Cavalier?
There are several reasons to want to remove a windshield wiper arm from your Chevrolet Cavalier. They could be old and in serious need of repair, or they could simply need to be cleaned and adjusted. No matter the reason, removal of the windshield wiper arm is simple and quick. This method can be used on most GM models. There is a special tool that can be used in order to not scratch the paint on your car, but a simple screwdriver will suffice. Take notice of the position in which the windshield wiper is laying. Note the difference in the top side and bottom side and remember this for when you attach it again. Pull the windshield wiper arm up like you are going to change the blades. Locate the threaded wiper arm stud around the base of the wiper arm. Place the thick folded cloth between the paint and the arm. Use the screw driver to pry underneath the stud. Pop out the stud, being careful not to scratch the paint or damage the stud. Repeat on the next arm.
