How Do You Remove Windows Messenger From XP Pro?

0

Windows Messenger is an application that is pre-installed on Windows XP computers running Service Pack 1 (and all later versions of the operating system). If you have a Windows XP Professional computer with the Messenger service running on it, you can remove this service completely from your computer with the Add/Remove Programs utility. Click “Start,” open “Control Panel” and then double-click on “Add/Remove Programs.” Click “Add/Remove Windows Components” and then uncheck the “Windows Messenger” entry. Click the “Next” and “Finish” buttons and then restart your computer. When it boots back up, Messenger will no longer be installed on the computer.
