Taking your car to a dealer to remove the tint can be expensive. You can remove the tint yourself with a few basic household products. Hold the hairdryer toward the window. Direct the heat to the area where you wish to remove the tint. Turn the hairdryer to its hottest setting. Aim it at one of the corners of the window tint. Use your fingers to remove the tint. Begin at the corner of the tint while it is hot and peel off as much tint as possible. Try to pull it off in one sheet. Apply the heat from the hairdryer to each window. Continue to peel off the tint in your car. Use an adhesive remover to finish taking off the tint. For best results, fill a spray bottle with the adhesive remover.
