How Do You Remove White Dishwasher Residue From Pans?
Hard water is the main source for leaving a white residue on dishes that run through the dishwasher. Hard water contains a higher amount of minerals and calcium. When it is heated and cooled it leaves behind a white powdery residue. This residue clings to dishes leaving them spotty or splotchy. Cleaning hard water residue is a simple chore that will leave dishes looking clean again in no time. Run a sink full of hot water. Add 2 cups of vinegar. Set the pans in the water and submerge them completely. Allow the pans to soak for at least fifteen minutes or until the water is cool to the touch. Wash the pans with warm soapy water. Scrub away any residual white spots. Rinse the pans in warm clear water. Dry the pans with a soft, clean and dry towel.
