Placing wheels on your HP printer makes it much easier to move it from place to place, especially if the printer is large or bulky. Even though those wheels are a convenience, there are times when you might need to remove them. Seek assistance if the printer is heavy or bulky; do not attempt to remove the wheels on your own. Place the printer in the spot where you want it to remain. It will be much harder to move the printer after the wheels have been removed. Kneel down next to the printer and move each of the wheels to the unlocked position. Raise the stabilizing leg at each corner of the printer. Lift one corner of the printer and ask your assistant to pull the wheel down and free of the printer. Sit the printer back down and move to the next corner. Remove each wheel from the printer, then set the printer down and lift the next corner. Place the wheels in a safe place, or keep them with the printer.
