How Do You Remove Water Stains From Concrete?

0

Potted plants and flowers add color and style to the patio, bringing a garden setting close to the home’s living area. Unfortunately, those pots can leave behind water stains on the patio. One way to minimize this problem is to remove the plants when watering or use adequate drainage pans. Yet, even then the pots can still leave water marks. Unless you intend to leave the pots indefinitely on the patio to hide the marks, there will come a time when you will want to remove the stains. If it is a concrete patio, it is possible to remove the unsightly marks. Remove the pots from the concrete patio. Sweep the area and remove any debris. Rinse the concrete with water, using a hose, and allow to dry. Pour white vinegar over the stain. Let it sit for about an hour. Scrub the stained area with the scrub brush and rinse. If the stain is still there, repeat step 3 and 4.
