How Do You Remove Water Marks From Glass?
Water marks can develop on nearly any glass surface, from a shower door to a drinking glass to an outdoor patio table. This can be caused by hard water, soapy water or simply water droplets that dry onto the glass surface before they are wiped off. In any event, the water marks need to be removed from the glass to restore the crisp, clean appearance of the glass. A low-cost homemade spot remover will wipe away the water marks with little effort on your part. Dip a cloth in pure white vinegar and rub over the water marks. The vinegar will remove water spots and dry clear, making it the perfect solution Dip a piece of fine-grain steel wool in the vinegar for stains that are not easily rubbed away with the cloth. This is useful for outdoor areas where water marks may be highly prominent or shower areas where water spots are mixed with soap scum residue. Rub gently in small circular motions, lightly buffing out the water spots.
