How Do You Remove Water Bubbles From A Container?
Trapped air bubbles can take up valuable space in a water container. By clearing out water bubbles, you will be able to maximize the volume of contained water. Water bubbles tend to rise to the top if they are not clinging to the sides of the container. Completely removing water bubbles before freezing water can result in less cloudy ice. Take advantage of this natural buoyancy to force out as much trapped air as possible. Chill the container of water, with the lid off, in the refrigerator for a couple hours. Water is more dense at lower temperatures and the increased pressure will make it easier to remove bubbles. Unscrew the faucet tip and set it aside. The screen in the faucet tip aerates the water as it flows out and must be removed. Remove the container from the refrigerator and add cold water until the level is even with or slightly above the rim. The surface tension of water will allow containers to be slightly overfilled without spilling. Tap gently on all sides of the containe
