How Do You Remove Underarm Stains From Clothes?

0

It’s embarrassing to have underarm stains on your clothes. Normal washing doesn’t get rid of these stains. Many times the stains have more to do with your deodorant than with you or your sweating. Prevention is best of course. To avoid underarm stains make sure your underarms are dry before applying your deodorant. After putting your deodorant on wait at least 5 minutes before putting your shirt on to be sure your deodorant is dry. To remove underarm stains, make a paste of baking soda and water. Dampen the stained underarm. Use a damp rag to rub the baking soda paste into the stain. Let sit overnight. Wash as usual. This is safe for any color shirt. To remove underarm stains on white shirts, cut a lemon in half, lightly wet the underarm of the shirt with plain water, sprinkle the underarm with salt and scrub the salt in with the half of a lemon. Let the shirt sit in the sun for 2 to 3 hours. Wash as usual. For tough underarm stains, dip the underarm of the shirt in isopropyl alcohol.
