How Do You Remove Underarm Odor From Clothes?
Shirts/tops requiring cold water wash often hold on to underarm odor. I have found that one of these two methods work every time for me, to remove them. My washer is a front loader, therefore it uses less water. Top loaders may dilute too much, so the second method is recommended. FIRST METHOD : Spray underarm of shirt(s) with white vinegar and place in washer. I like to make sure that the target area is saturated. Put approximately 1/2-3/4 cup baking soda in washing machine with clothes, detergent, etc. Wash clothes as normal. Check for odor when finished. It should be gone! SECOND METHOD: Wash shirt(s) as normal. Either hang to dry (if you are short on time), or proceed with damp clothes. Use a clean bucket or dish pan. Fill with luke-cold/warm water according to how many shirts will fit comfortably with the ability to soak (so they will be covered with approximately 2-4 inches of water).
