How Do You Remove The Yahoo Toolbar From Firefox?
The narrow window that runs across the top of a Web browser is called a “toolbar.” Generally, a toolbar contains a back and forward icon, a home icon, a refresh icon, a stop icon and a print icon. Increasingly, Web browsers are allowing users to customize their toolbars. One such customization option is the Yahoo! Toolbar, which adds a search engine to your toolbar. Toolbar space is, however, limited. Thus, some users may want to remove the Yahoo! Toolbar in favor of a different customization option. Click on the “Pencil” icon located next to the Yahoo! toolbar. Clicking on the Pencil icon will open the Pencil menu. Select “Uninstall” from the menu. Type in your reason for uninstalling the Yahoo toolbar when prompted. Select “Uninstall” again. Restart Mozilla Firefox. Open Mozilla Firefox. Click on “Tools.” Click on “add-ons” from the drop-down menu. Find the Yahoo! Toolbar icon and click “Uninstall” beneath it. Restart Mozilla Firefox.
