Im pretty sure that the XM is an add on so pull out the power cord and remove the xm reciever from its holder. Save the other cord since you can use it for your Mp3 player. If it is an in dash unit you will need to purchase a new radio, Most places will install it for free or for a nominal charge and I recommend this since it is such a hassle with the wiring if you arent mechanically inclined.
