How do you remove the windshield wiper blade on a 2003 Jeep Liberty?
All you need to do is use a flat head screw driver or a butter knife in a jam and just push the metal clips on the blade’s back and then it should slide right off. I have tried to open up the clips on the wipers which will work but is not worth the time to try to get the back lined up. If the wiper is from the factory my 2004 wiper blades were literally attached to the metal. I took a knife & cut them loose. I then opened the clips and re-aligned them & yes it did take time. First, make sure you have the 19″ wipers needed, and use the computer selector in the store…..walmart has a good one. Pylon 19″ or Anco 19″ work fine. Lift wiper from front windshield, flip blade so rubber points towards you, depress plastic tab on wiper adaptor and pull straight down. Installation is the reverse of this operation. For the rear windshield wiper….beware of bosch micro edge 11″, they DON’T have the proper adaptor in the package. Trust me, I know. Best bet is to go to the dealers and pay the extra
