Today, I will be removing the water pump pulley in a Saturn S-Series car. I will be doing this without using an impact wrench. So let’s get started, just follow the steps below to continue. The tools you will need are a flat tip screwdriver, a box wrench, and a metal pipe. Get your car up in the air. Jack it up and support it on jack stands. Remove the right front tire. Remove the splash panels. You should now see the water pump pulley. Remove the belt. To remove the belt, pull on the belt tensioner and remove the belt. Get your flat tip screwdriver. Lock it in against two of the bolts. Now get your box wrench and place it on the third bolt. Use the pipe as a breaker bar. Break the bolt. Then do the same for the other two bolts. Unscrew the bolts. Now remove the water pump pulley. So that’s it, you are done.
