How Do You Remove The VLX Battery In A 1994 Honda Shadow?
The 1994 Honda Shadow is a cruiser style motorcycle. The VLX battery is the Shadow’s power source. The battery powers all of the lights and the electric starter on the Honda shadow. The VLX battery on the 1994 Honda Shadow is located underneath the seat toward the rear of the seat. The VLX battery is secured to the Shadow by a plastic mount locked into place by a metal bolt. Remove the screws that are securing the seat to the frame on the right and left rear side of the seat using the Phillips head screw driver. Set the seat aside in a clean and dry place. Lift up on the rear of the seat while pushing forward, toward the gas tank. Remove the seat from the frame of the Honda Shadow. Look inside the compartment under the seat and locate the VLX battery. The battery will be black in color, square in shape, and have two metal rods coming out of the top on the right and left side. Disconnect the battery cables from the battery using a wrench.
