How Do You Remove The Tail From Shrimp In A Pasta Dish?

0

It’s happened to all of us at one point or another. You go to a restaurant, order a pasta dish with shrimp, and then when it arrives you have to some how deal with the tails on the shrimp without making a mess of things. Here is an easy way to detail the shrimp so that you get to enjoy everything you are paying for! Take one of the shrimp and move it to an empty section on your plate. Press the end of your butter knife down on the “fan” portion of the tail very firmly. Spear the shrimp with your fork very close to where the body meets the tail shell. Still pressing firmly with your knife, wiggle your fork back and forth while gingerly pull until it comes away from the shell. Move the tail to the side and eat the shrimp either with or without additional pasta.
