Steering wheels wear out over time just like everything else does on a truck. The steering wheel removal process on a Mack truck is very simple and can be done with just a few tools in about 30 minutes. Before you start the removal process of the steering wheel on the Mack truck, make sure that the replacement steering wheel matches the old one. Turn the front wheels so that they are straight. Remove the center cap and horn assembly of the steering wheel with a flat head screwdriver. Remove the locking pin if applicable.
