How Do You Remove The Seeds From A Pomegranate?
Pomegranates are now becoming more popular than ever since the juice has been found to have high antioxidant properties. One of the drawbacks of juicing or removing the seeds from these fruits yourself is the messy and staining juice. Here is a quick and easy way to extract the seeds without the need for a shower afterward! Wash the fruit and then cut a circle around the fruit through the skin but not so much that the juice runs out. Immerse the fruit in the bowl of water and twist each side of the fruit until it separates. Holding the fruit underwater, carefully use your fingers or thumb to pry out the seeds. The juice and pieces of the fruit will float around and the seeds will sink. That is OK, just continue until all the seeds are loose. Skim off the rind bits or pick them out by hand off the top of the water. Strain the remaining seeds and sprinkle out onto a paper towel to drain. Now you can eat them, or juice them as you like. Enjoy!
