How Do You Remove The Radio In A 1993 Ford Escort?
The Ford Escort was a popular car for the automaker, and they sold millions of them. In 1993, the car came with a stock tape deck and am/fm radio. If you want to remove the stock stereo and install an upgraded model, it’s pretty easy and requires two special radio removal tools which can be found at most auto parts stores or car stereo shops. Locate the two holes on the left side of the stereo, one stacked on top of the other. Place one of the Ford radio removal tools in the two holes until you hear a clicking sound, indicating that the tool is locked in place. Repeat the process with the two holes on the right side of the stereo with the other tool. Place one radio removal tool in each hand and pull them away from the center of the stereo. Then, while still holding the tools apart, pull the stereo towards you, releasing it from the dashboard. Pull it all the way out with your hands. Unplug any electrical connections from the back of the deck with your hands, as well as the antenna lea
