How Do You Remove The Microsoft Service Pack 2?
On occasion, software and operating system developers like Microsoft need to fix and update software between official version releases. Microsoft calls these types of updates “service packs.” At times, however, the service pack may not work correctly on your computer. This is because you may have hardware or software that is not compatible with the changes Microsoft made to the operating system through the service pack. It takes about five minutes to remove a service pack. Close all of your programs on your computer. Click the “Start” button in the bottom left of your desktop. Click “Run.” Type “Appwiz.cpl” and click “OK.” Select the “Show Updates” check box. Click “Windows Service Pack 2” and click “Remove.” The name may have the name of your operating system in it. Follow the prompts to completely remove the service pack. Restart your computer.
