You may need to remove the keyboard from a Toshiba laptop at some point for a number of reasons. For instance, you might want to remove the keyboard while cleaning the laptop thoroughly. In addition, you might want to remove it in order to reach other parts of the laptop for maintenance, or replace the keyboard altogether. The keyboard removal process stays the same for all different types of Toshiba laptops. Remove the battery from the laptop by sliding the two notches that have battery symbols by them. Pull out the battery and set it aside. Use a small Flathead screwdriver to lift up the bezel, the long thin plastic strip above the keyboard. Use your fingers to remove the bezel the rest of the way. Remove the four screws securing the keyboard with a small Phillips head screwdriver and set them aside in a secure spot to avoid losing them.
