How do you remove the front license plate cover on a Cadillac deville?
You will need to go underneath the front end and I believe it is a 1/4″ mini socket or nut driver size to remove 2 mini screws (1 on each side of underneath license body molding). I had to remove the under screen (the cover piece under the front end that is connected with about 6 or so plastic pins. This pins on my 2000 Deville had to be pulled out with some needlenose pliers first and then the plastic core piece will fall out and then you just need to remove as many as 4 or 6 so you can maneuver your hand underneath where license plate bracket area is and grab each screw by hand as they are connected to a metal clip that once you loosen them all the way up they don’t pop out unless you give them a little tug with your fingers. Then the face plate molding where the license plate goes should pop right out. I had to go to Advanceauto parts to get some little plastic square peg inserts that are threaded and have screws that come with it. Pop these in with your fingers. Then you can screw
