How Do You Remove The Dashboard In A Ford F150?

0

The dashboard on a Ford F150 pickup truck is made of numerous trim panels that surround and protect the components of the steering column, instrument panel and the rest of the compartment’s front end. Removing the dashboard involves disconnecting each of these panels, and some panels can’t be removed without removing other panels first. The exact type of panels on the dashboard and how to remove them can vary depending on the year of the truck. Disconnect the truck’s negative battery cable. This is a precaution in case some panels include electrical connectors, especially around the steering column. Unscrew the two screws located at the bottom edge of the driver’s side knee bolster below the steering column using a screwdriver. Pry off the bolster with a trim stick or other dull, flat tool. Remove the two screws at the bottom corners of the instrument cluster bezel surrounding the cluster and the steering column. Work the trim stick around the top edge of the panel to disengage the pan
