The dashboard on your 1969 Ford truck is likely showing its age. You can remove it to restore it, or you can try to find a better-looking replacement dash. Open the door and use the screwdriver to remove all the retaining screws on the dash. Remove the two screws holding the side of the dash in place, which are only accessible from either side of the dashboard with the doors open. Climb under the dash and remove the screws in the driver’s and passenger’s side foot wells. Pry up on the defroster vents where the windshield meets the dashboard. Then remove the underlying screws.
