How do you remove the battery on a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix?
Remove the fender brace over battery; unsnap the gang wiring harness from the brace. Remove the windshield washer fluid assembly to give yourself the necessary room to maneuver the battery out of its compartment. Remove neg cable, then pos cable (5/16th socket); use a 13mm socket on a 12″ extension to reach the 13mm bolt that holds the battery in place. Reverse procedure. Done. I hope this helps you.
