How Do You Remove The Basket On The Jack Lalanne Power Juicer?

0

Removing the basket from the Jack LaLanne power juicer is not difficult when using the tool that comes with the juicer. The basket sits between the juicer base and the juicer blade. The blade screws into the shaft of the motor which is how the blade rotates when in operation. Once you get the juicer blade off the motor shaft, the basket will lift right out of the juicer. Unplug the power juicer from the wall outlet. Pull the juicer away from the pulp collector. The pulp collector does not attach to the juicer; it sits under the end of the top pulp guard. Pull the locking bar forward to unlock the pulp guard from the power juicer base. The pulp guard is the entire top body of the power juicer. Pull the pulp guard off and place it in the sink for cleaning. Locate the crescent tool that comes with the power juicer. The crescent tool has an orange handle and will have two small metal pins on each end. The tool resembles a half-moon. Insert the metal pins of the crescent tool into the holes
