How Do You Remove The Address Bar History On Windows XP?
In Windows XP, when you type a URL into your address bar or visit a Web page, many newer versions of Internet browsers will store a history of the URLs you have visited in your address bar. This can be useful if you are the only one using this computer and you want the browser to remember sites you have visited. However, if there are other people using the same computer, you may want to remove this history and not let them see all the URLs you have visited. Launch your Firefox browser. Click on the “Tool” menu and choose “Clear Recent History.” Click the arrow next to “Details” and remove all the check boxes except for “Browsing and Download History.” Choose the amount of history you want to delete from the drop-down menu next to “Time Range to Clear.” If you want to delete everything, choose “Everything.” Click the “Clear Now” button and allow Firefox to clear your browsing history. Launch your Internet Explorer browser. Click on the “Safety” menu, then click “Delete Browsing History.
