How Do You Remove Tape Glue From Plastic?
Peeling tape away from plastic surfaces will often leave behind a sticky adhesive residue. When cleaning a plastic surface it is important to avoid strong solvents that will cause the plastic to melt or appear cloudy. Fortunately, you can clean away all the tape glue left behind on plastic surfaces in just a few minutes using basic household items. Add a few drops of cooking or mineral oil the the corner of a folded paper towel. Apply medium pressure as you press the oiled corner of the paper towel onto the tape glue. Rub on the adhesive in a tight circular motion to work the oil into the entire sticky area. Allow the oil to rest on the surface of the plastic for a few hours or even overnight. Drip a couple more drops of cooking or mineral oil directly to the plastic surface and move to a dry corner of the paper towel to continue rubbing in a circular motion. Continue oiling and rubbing until the tape glue is gone. Remove all the oil that remains on the surface of the plastic by wiping
