How Do You Remove Tape Glue From A Plastic Box?
We have all purchased plastic goods from a garage or yard sale with a price tag attached which is made with tape and marker. We have all also fought to remove these tags without leaving behind a disgusting sticky film from the tag’s glue. Using sharp instruments to scrape off the glue may leave scratches and dings in your plastic goods. Harsh chemical removers can bleach your plastic goods and make them brittle. Instead, try one of these methods the next time you find yourself fighting with any kind of price tag. Turn on your blow dryer, and set it to its warmest setting. Aim your blow dryer at the tape glue for two minutes. Dip a cloth in warm water and gently wipe away the residue. If the blow dryer doesn’t work, try placing cooking oil on the tape glue overnight. Wipe away the cooking oil and the tape glue will lift with the oil.
