How Do You Remove Symantec Client Security?
Norton Symantec Client Security is an antivirus program that is pre-installed on many computers. However, like many pre-installed products, many users do not want this software installed on their computer. Sometimes customers feel they have a superior product that they’re loyal to, other times the current software doesn’t suit their needs. Fortunately, it’s fairly simple to remove Symantec Client Security from a PC to make room for a preferred antivirus product. Click “Start” button on the taskbar. Click “Control Panel.” Click the “Add/Remove Programs” icon in the Control Panel Window. Locate “Symantec Client Security” in the list of programs. Click “Remove” on the right side of the window. Click “Yes” when Windows asks if you want to completely remove the program and all its components. Follow the Add/Remove Programs wizard to completely uninstall Symantec Client Security.
