Find a slightly used utility razor. Box cutter razors can also be used. Angle the razor between 60 and 45 degrees to prevent damage to the floor. Scrape gently with the grain of the floor to better cover any scratches which may occur. As you scrape, do not press too hard against the floor. Use orange oil furniture polish to loosen the glue used to keep the tape secure to your floor. Orange oil has slightly solvent properties that also protects wood.
