How Do You Remove Sticky Tag Glue Off Ceramics?
When you buy a new glass or ceramic item, the price tag can leave a sticky glue residue. This ruins the whole look of your new purchase. Here’s an easy way to remove that with something from your food pantry. First grab the tag from the corner and slowly pull up. If you pull the tag too quickly half may rip. Once the tag is completely removed, feel the are to see if it’s sticky. You can sometimes see the leftover glue from the tag. Get a jar of peanut butter and scoop half a teaspoon of peanut butter onto it. Smooth a little of the peanut butter onto the sticky surface. In a circular motion, rub the butter with the paper towel. Wipe the surface clean with a paper towel. If the glue has not been fully removed, add a little more peanut butter and repeat the process. Wipe clean. To eliminate the peanut butter smell, moisten a paper towel and add a little mild soap to the surface, then rub off. No more sticky surface!
