How Do You Remove Sticky Masking Tape?
The world would be a much better place if we didn’t have hurricanes, warts or leftover residue from sticky masking tape. While we don’t always have much control over the hurricanes or warts, something can be done about the sticky masking tape. This grimy gunk can be removed with a little patience and a miraculous product. Clean the area the best that you can. Use a damp sponge or steel wool pad in a circular motion to loosen any thick chunks of tape. Pull off the chunks and discard. Get out the razor. Take a sharp blade and begin to scrape at the tape. Gently move in one direction, with the blade at a 45-degree angle or less, so that it “shovels” up the tape and sticky stuff. Periodically wipe the blade with a paper towel to remove the buildup.
