How Do You Remove Sticky Labels From Clothing?
Sometimes when you purchase new clothing, a brand or size sticker is placed on the item. You may peel the sticker off, but it tears or leaves behind a sticky residue. Simply washing the item will not make the residue go away. Kids stick stickers on their clothing and you may wash them by accident without knowing, so there’s just a clump of sticker eft behind on the clothing that won’t budge. It is possible to save your clothing and remove the residue. Peel the sticker from the clothing carefully. Rub at the remaining residue with a little liquid soap and warm water. This should get most of the sticker off. Dab rubbing alcohol on the remaining sticker residue. Scrape the sticker residue off completely with a butter knife. Allow the alcohol to dry. Launder the clothing as usual.
