Glue can be a valuable tool when fixing the interior of a car. If proper care is not taken, however, it can end up dripping in the car leaving you with a sticky mess. Removing glue from plastic can be particularly difficult, as many agents designed for removing the sticky substance can damage your plastic as well. With the proper careful measurements, however, you can safely remove glue from your plastic parts and leave them as good as new. Prepare a mixture of soapy water in the bucket. Dip one cloth in the bucket to wet it, then lay the cloth over the sticky, glue-covered areas. Leave the cloth to soak for three to four hours. Make sure that the cloth remains wet throughout the entire time it is sitting. Remove the wet cloth, and blot dry with the second cloth. Repeat the process multiple times if needed to remove all the sticky glue residue.
