How Do You Remove Stickers From Wood Furniture?
Stickers, bumper stickers, duct tape and other forms of tape can leave a sticky residue on your wood furniture, walls or floors. Various household products, such as baby/mineral oil, vegetable oil (which need to set for a few hours on the sticker) and peanut butter, will remove the tape and also the goo that is left behind. However, the oils from these products can seep into your wood, changing the color. Vinegar (which also needs to soak into the stickers), paint thinner, furniture polish and petroleum jelly also work. However, one of the best ways to get rid of the adhesive goo and sticker is to use Goo Gone, a natural, citrus-based de-greaser sold at your local hardware store.
