How Do You Remove Sticker Adhesive From Plastic?
Whether you just bought your child a new toy and need to remove the bar code or price sticker, or even if your child has placed a sticker on a plastic surface around the home, you need a removal routine that removes the sticker and sticker adhesive without causing damage to the plastic. It is especially important to use non-chemical solutions on toys and other areas of the home that come in contact with your family members, and luckily there is an inexpensive ingredient that works perfectly in this instance. Soak a paper towel in hot water, and lay it over the sticker. Let it sit for five minutes. Peel off the sticker with your fingernail, and rub any remaining sticker adhesive off the plastic with the wet paper towel. Soak a new paper towel in white vinegar. Place this paper towel over any remaining sticker adhesive, and let it sit for 10 minutes. Scrub away leftover residue with the paper towel, and wipe the area with a wet paper towel using just water.
