Whether crayon, gum, ink pen or dye has stained your Kitchenaid dryer, it is important to remove the stain so that it does not transfer onto your laundry. Removing dryer stains at first sight provides the greatest chance for success. A variety of products can be used to successfully remove stains from a Kitchenaid dryer. Scrape off any crayon chunks from the dryer using a plastic spatula or credit card. Do so carefully so not to spread the crayon onto unaffected areas of the dryer. Apply WD-40 to a rag. Wipe down the crayon-stained areas of the dryer with the rag. Gentle scrubbing should be all that is necessary to remove the crayon. Wipe down the affected area with a rag and soapy water.
